Anoka County Library announces it's opening up registration for the Reading Bridge program, aimed at bolstering the literacy skills of young learners. First, second, and third-grade students are invited to join this initiative designed to instill confidence and a love of reading through a series of engaging sessions, as per Anoka County.
Starting from February 9 through April 11, volunteers will dedicate one hour per week to work with these students. According to the official Anoka County announcement, the activities planned include, but are not limited to, reading practice and interactive literacy games. Given the program's popularity, it is noted that the seats are "limited, spaces fill up quickly."
Interested parents and guardians have until January 31 to register their children for the program. Registration can be completed online at the library's dedicated Reading Bridge page, Anoka County stated.
