A young mother of two has gone missing from Chicago’s South Side, and family members alongside authorities are requesting public assistance to help locate her. Fox32 Chicago reports that Eskarle La Cruz Romero, 24, was last observed on January 21 on the 7800 block of South Coles Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, her absence raising concerns since she was recognized for frequently using public transportation with her children.
The Chicago Police Department shared details, stating La Cruz Romero stands at 5-foot-6, weighs roughly 150 pounds, and distinguishes herself with red hair and a light complexion. She reportedly donned a green sweater when she was last seen, a detail that could aid in her identification in congested spaces. Concerns are heightened due to her being in the company of her young children, who rely on her for their care and well-being.
For anyone who might have seen Eskarle or has any information related to her disappearance, they should immediately contact the CPD's Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274 or dial 911, ensuring that every second counts when someone's safety hangs in the balance.
