According to a public notice issued by the police, Woods, 17, vanished on December 12, 2025, in the vicinity of the 6000 block of S. Justine, Chicago. Efforts to locate him since his disappearance have so far been unsuccessful, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Details released by the Chicago Police describe Rayshaun as a 5'5" tall, male weighing around 160 lbs with brown eyes, black hair, and a dark brown complexion. On the day of his disappearance, he was seen wearing a brown jacket and a dark green hooded sweatshirt. He is identified as Black in the missing person report, and it's imperative to emphasize the urgency of finding this young individual who has been missing for an unsettling amount of time.
Community members and the public at large have been asked to assist in the search. The notification from the Chicago Police contains a plea for any information related to Woods' whereabouts, stating, "If you have any information, please contact Area One detectives at 312-747-8380 or call 911."
