Community members and local authorities are on the lookout for Bianca Johnson, a 37-year-old woman reported missing since Wednesday, January 28. Detectives are calling for the public's assistance in locating her after last seen in the vicinity of 136th Pl. in Riverdale. Standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing roughly 160 to 170 pounds, Johnson has brown eyes and black hair, with a dark brown complexion, as detailed in a statement released by the Chicago Police Department.
Johnson, described as an African American woman, is said to frequent the Altgeld Gardens area. The police have expressed particular concern because she has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, as reported by the CPD. With brown eyes and the last contact on January 28, the challenge of battling with mental health issues adds to the urgency of her disappearance.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant it may seem.
