The Coral Springs Museum of Art will host two concurrent solo exhibitions, "Underneath the Surface of Sight" by Lisa MacNamara and "Casa Dolce Casa" by Tommaso Fattovich, starting January 16 in its Main and East Galleries. MacNamara explores the human form through mixed media, while Fattovich presents his texturally rich "Abstract Punk" style in abstraction, according to the City of Coral Springs.
Museum Director Juliana Forero said, "Presenting these solo exhibitions side-by-side allows viewers to experience two separate but powerful interpretations of abstraction." An Opening Reception will take place on January 16 from 6 to 9 p.m., giving guests a chance to meet the artists and view both exhibitions, as reported by the City of Coral Springs.
The City of Coral Springs will host a "Visual Language" workshop on January 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $40. On the same day, Tommaso Fattovich and Lisa MacNamara will hold "In Conversation," a free discussion about their work at 3 p.m. Both events require online registration at CoralSpringsMuseum.org. The exhibitions will be on display at the Coral Springs Museum of Art through March 21.
