In District 8, Mead Elementary School celebrated the 100th day of the school year with Councilmember Ivalis Meza Gonzalez joining to honor students and staff. The District 8 Office provided breakfast tacos, orange juice, and donuts to mark the milestone, according to the City of San Antonio.
To make the day educational and fun, students received traffic-safety coloring books and crayons. Councilmember Meza Gonzalez also engaged directly with classrooms, connecting with students beyond a traditional civic visit, as reported by the City of San Antonio.
