The City of Doral will implement new security measures at City Hall beginning February 18. The updates include having security personnel stationed in the City Hall lobby during operating hours. Visitors will also be required to check in at the reception desk before accessing other services or offices within the building, according to the city's announcement.
The update also notes that additional security protocols will be in place on City Council meeting days due to increased visitor attendance. Metal detectors will be installed at the lobby rotunda entrance to screen members of the public, and access through the garage entrance will be limited to non-public use.
The security enhancements are intended to support public safety and maintain orderly operations at City Hall. The City of Doral thanked the public for its cooperation and understanding as the new measures are implemented.
