Walt Disney World is offering some sweet deals exclusively for Florida residents to kick-start the new year with a bit of magic and economical fun. Those with proof of residency in the Sunshine State can eagerly snap up the freshly minted Discover Disney tickets, which are stamped with a starting date of January 12th. According to WFTV, Floridians can purchase a 4-day ticket for a dirt-cheap $64 per day, excluding taxes, or opt for a 3-day package, with each day costing $79, plus tax.
For residents who promptly want to dive into the attractions but are more the 'short and sweet' visit type, Disney is offering a 2-day, 2-park ticket at a total of $190, plus tax. This special ticket grants access to EPCOT and Animal Kingdom only, with a travel window nestled between Jan. 12 and April 18. It’s crucial to make an advance park reservation, though, as you can't just waltz in unannounced.
Staying in the loop with Disney's latest courtesy of ClickOrlando, the park is rolling out a carousel of new experiences and upgrades throughout 2026. From revamping established attractions like Frozen Ever After and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin to introducing a rocking transformation to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring The Muppets, the park is set for an exciting season.
For the Disney-lovers eyeing a longer stay woven with the whimsy only a Disney resort can offer, there's up to 30% off at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels during the spring and up to a tempting 35% off summer room rates. The offers, like a lordly banquet, also extend to new headliners – the Soarin’ Across America will take flight to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, and there's a brand new kids’ zone to romp around with Bluey & Bingo characters.
However, if you're smitten with a penchant for festivals, Disney parks aren't skimping on those either. Cultural buffs can relish in the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and the International Flower & Garden Festival, complete with awe-inspiring topiaries and soul-soothing live music. From tasting delectable artisanal dishes to soaking up Broadway tunes belted out by DISNEY ON BROADWAY stars, there's a platter of experiences to satiate every palate.
