Drivers in Coral Ridge Isles on E. Commercial Boulevard experienced delays last night as city crews worked to repair a water leak. The City of Fort Lauderdale reported that repair work near 1781 E. Commercial Boulevard began at 9 p.m., resulting in lane closures. Only two westbound lanes remained open during the work, which affected traffic flow in the area.
The repair work was completed by 5 a.m. today, and all lanes were reopened to traffic. The turn lane into the Shoppes at 18th & Commercial, which had been temporarily closed during the repairs, is now fully operational, allowing right turns that were not possible during the work hours.
