A Georgia man is facing multiple charges after being accused of soliciting sexual photos and videos from a teenage girl in Galliano, Louisiana. Identified as Robert Itter, a 69-year-old from Rossville, Georgia, he has been formally charged with sex offenses including computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes and indecent behavior with juveniles. FOX 8 Live reported a set bail of $150,000 for Itter.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office embarked on the investigation following reports that the 15-year-old girl had been interacting with adult men on Snapchat. Detectives uncovered that she had sent and received sexually explicit messages, photos, and videos, and after sifting through her mobile device and securing search warrants for additional Snapchat and email accounts, suspicion fell upon Itter who was arrested while working with the Walker County Sheriff’s Office on December 8, WDSU reported.

The investigation revealed, according to information obtained by NOLA.com, that explicit content was allegedly exchanged after Itter was made aware of the girl's age. The detectives involved managed to ascertain Itter's identity as a suspect through forensic analysis of the victim's cellphone data before obtaining a warrant for his arrest and conducting a search of his home.

Subsequent to his arrest, Itter was extradited to Louisiana on January 2, where he has been detained at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex. He faces two counts of computer-aided solicitation for sexual purposes, in addition to 12 counts of pornography involving juveniles and 13 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, of which Sheriff Craig Webre mentioned the severity after developed as a suspect in the investigation, as reported by NOLA.com.
