Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson has been named Grand Marshal of the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade and Celebration. The event is scheduled for tomorrow.
According to the Gwinnett County website, this year’s theme is "Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Nonviolent Way." The day will begin with an Opening Ceremony at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville, followed by the parade starting at noon.
The United Ebony Society of Gwinnett County organizes the annual event. Post-parade activities, including live entertainment, food, and vendors, will take place at Central Gwinnett High School, 564 West Crogan Street, with an indoor option at the school gymnasium in case of inclement weather.
