The Janesville Senior Center is organizing a day trip on March 25, featuring a visit to the Circa21 Dinner Playhouse to see Honky Tonk Angels, followed by a stop at a local casino. The trip offers participants a chance to enjoy classic country music and some fun and entertainment.
According to the City of Janesville, the event features the musical Honky Tonk Angels, which follows three women pursuing Nashville stardom. The show includes over 30 classic country songs, including Stand By Your Man, 9 to 5, and Harper Valley PTA. After the performance, participants can enjoy a visit to a local casino.
The journey begins bright and early with a departure from Dawson Park at 920 Beloit Avenue, where travelers will embark on their trip at 9:00 a.m., returning at around 8:30 p.m. to wrap up the day's escapades. Adventure seekers should note that the cost of this experience is $120 for members of the Janesville Senior Center and $130 for non-members. To ensure a seat on this nostalgia-driven excursion, registrations are due by February 13.
For more information or to register, contact the Janesville Senior Center at (608) 755-3040. This trip offers entertainment and a chance to connect with fellow attendees over classic country music.
