One person was shot and wounded Thursday night in Addison after gunfire broke out in the 700-block of West Lake Street, according to authorities. The victim was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, the Addison Fire Department reported. Local reporting on Friday traced the initial dispatch information to the Addison Fire Department. According to ABC7 Chicago, emergency crews responded to the 700-block of West Lake Street and transported one person to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
