The city took to social media, notifying residents that the time to plan their outdoor events is now. According to the Facebook post by Layton City, a four-hour block can be snagged for $35, with the option to extend the fun at $8 per additional hour. And for the cautious and considerate, there's a $50 refundable cleaning deposit, ensuring the shared spaces stay pristine for the next round of revelers.
For those living outside the Layton jurisdiction, participation in the community’s summer culture will cost a bit more. Non-residents should expect to pay double the fees, a stake in the neighborly spirit that comes at a premium. However, this increase hasn't seemed to dampen the spirits of those eager to join in on Layton's seasonal traditions.
