The Memphis Fire Department is adding a new ladder truck, Truck 5, to its fleet, following the completion of the vehicle's final inspection in Appleton, Wisconsin. According to a Facebook post by the department, Truck 5 is a 100-foot rear-mount Pierce Enforcer.
The ladder truck was displayed in front of Lambeau Field in Green Bay before heading to Memphis, where it will join the fire department’s fleet. Truck 5 reflects the department’s ongoing investment in modern equipment to support community safety, and officials expressed pride in adding the new vehicle to their fleet.
Memphis residents can expect to see Truck 5 in service soon as the department integrates the new vehicle into its operations.
