The MDSO has since taken charge of the investigation. Details from the preliminary report suggest that the woman was eastbound on her motorcycle on NW 54th Street when she was struck by a red 2017 GMC Yukon Denali heading in the opposite direction. The collision inflicted noticeable damage on the right side of the Denali, including the front right door and potentially the front right fender. The vehicle was last observed moving southbound on NW 22nd Avenue from the location of the incident, as detailed by the same press release.
