This sequence of violence took root on the night of Dec. 19, when Miami Police Department officers responded to Northwest Second Avenue and 32nd Street after a vehicle, reportedly a black Chevy Malibu, slammed into a pole, the incident began with Carmen's alleged unprovoked attack on another woman traceable to a nearly decade-long grudge over a man both had dated who has since passed, surveillance footage captured Donoven retrieving a rifle and firing into a crowd, and it showed Carmen, with a handgun, searching for the initial victim reportedly even after the two women had fought, her arrest report disclosed.
