
Just after midnight Sunday, an argument at the Arriba En Blanco Apartments off Blanco Road near Gilbert Lane escalated into a stabbing. Two people were hospitalized, and police arrested a suspect at the scene.
Police said the suspect grabbed a knife during the fight, injuring a woman. A possible third victim was treated at the scene. Officers provided aid until paramedics arrived, and the investigation is ongoing, according to News 4 San Antonio.
Complex Has Seen Violence Before
The Arriba property is listed at 5200 Blanco Road, according to Apartments.com, putting it on a North Side stretch that has seen its share of trouble. In 2017, MySA reported a stabbing near an Arriba Apartments address on Blanco Road. A separate June 2025 apartment stabbing that left one person hospitalized was covered by KSAT.

Officials have not released information about possible charges or the suspect's identity, News 4 San Antonio reported. Investigators remain on scene reviewing evidence and have asked anyone with information to contact SAPD or Crime Stoppers.
