MSC Group has expanded its presence in North America with a new $100 million headquarters in downtown Miami. The opening earlier this week, near PortMiami, brought together MSC executives and local officials and is expected to support growth in the cruise and logistics sectors, as well as the local economy and job market.
The new MSC headquarters at Block 55, a mixed-use development, will accommodate hundreds of employees and centralize several departments under one roof. According to WSVN, while the headquarters is nearby, PortMiami will remain the company’s operational home port. The move is intended to streamline MSC’s services in the U.S. market.
The new MSC headquarters spans 130,000 square feet of modern office space and amenities, designed to support collaboration among employees of MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys. As per Travel and Tour World, the move reflects a financial commitment to Miami as a global business hub and highlights the company’s focus on innovation in the cruise industry.
The opening of MSC Group’s North American headquarters is expected to benefit Miami’s economy, with plans to create 1,500 jobs in areas such as hospitality and infrastructure.
