Additional details were provided, indicating that the home appeared to have been burglarized and the victim's car stolen. Despite these circumstances, the local law enforcement believe to possibly rule out foul play as the cause of death.
The Bullhead City Police Department, via a Facebook post, expressed the belief that the death of the woman might have resulted from natural causes. This was despite the concerning state of her home, which was reportedly ransacked. A neighboring individual came across the body on a couch after being informed by an unknown man about the dead woman and the theft of her vehicle. Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of Christine Lee Walters, 65, who faced charges after selling belongings of the deceased woman online. Walters, however, claimed to the police to have been unaware of the human remains in the home.
