Nashville police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early on Sunday near the 888 Murfreesboro Pike area, a popular nightclub district. David Valentine Jr., 33, a Door Dash delivery driver, was shot while driving with a passenger after completing a delivery, according to the Metro Nashville.
Valentine’s passenger heard the gunfire, managed to pull the Chevrolet Traverse to the roadside, and called emergency services. Valentine was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, as reported by the Metro Nashville.
The Nashville Police Department is investigating the killing of Valentine and is asking anyone with information to call 615-742-7463. Nashville’s Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for tips that lead to an arrest, and anonymity is guaranteed, as stated by the Metro Nashville.
