A rollover crash involving a North College Hill police cruiser occurred last Sunday evening, leaving both officers and another driver with minor injuries. FOX19 reports that the accident took place at approximately 5:33 p.m. at the intersection of West Galbraith Road and Hamilton Avenue. The cruiser was en route to a gun run, navigating traffic with activated lights and sirens, when it collided with a vehicle and overturned.

Witnesses at the scene provided descriptions of the aftermath, with a WCPO crew observing the overturned SUV cruiser and a dark-colored sedan bearing frontal damage at the heart of the intersection, effectively shutting down the thoroughfare attached to Hamilton Avenue and Galbraith Road, WCPO noted. The cruiser, while responding to the emergency, was hit by the sedan traveling south on Hamilton Ave, causing the police vehicle to flip.

Both parties involved in the collision were reported to have sustained minor injuries, and luckily, no life-threatening conditions emerged from the incident. According to WLWT, two officers from the North College Hill police were transported to a local hospital, treated for their injuries, and have since been discharged. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, leading the investigation, confirmed the minor nature and the officers' subsequent release.
