The City of Waukesha is set to launch residents into a space-themed adventure with the upcoming Waukesha JanBoree, slated to start on January 16. The Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department announced via a Facebook post that the event, titled 'Out of this World', is being presented by Generac and will feature a broad array of galactic-themed activities.
The festivities are set to take off at Lowell Park, where the CBS 58 News Team will kick off the evening with live news shots. Attendees can look forward to not just being spectators, but also participants in the wintery merriment with attractions including ice and snow sculpting and space darts. An additional attraction for those of age will be the beer garden, intended to help visitors stay warm and socialize amid the frosty air, according to the City of Waukesha.
Highlighting the night will be the fireworks display commencing at 8 PM, promising to deliver a spectacle reinforcing the cosmic theme.
