An investigation into 66 Spa in South Nashville led to the arrests of two individuals for alleged illicit activities. The probe, based on tips and complaints, was conducted by the MNPD’s Specialized Investigations and Special Victims Divisions.
An undercover detective visited 66 Spa and was offered a massage with sexual acts for $300. Lin Chen, 50, was arrested and now faces charges including prostitution and impersonating a licensed professional, according to the Metro Nashville & Davidson County. A subsequent search of the spa uncovered both used and unused condoms.
Jing Chen, 59, was arrested offsite and faces a felony charge for promoting prostitution. Authorities say her possession of the spa’s keys and a cell phone linked her to the operation. Jing Chen previously received probation for impersonating a licensed professional in another South Nashville spa case, according to the Nashville Government News Release.
Jing Chen’s legal situation is complicated by probation conditions from last October, which prohibited her from engaging in massage business operations. Although a previous prostitution charge was dismissed as part of a guilty plea, this alleged violation constitutes a repeat offense, authorities say.
