Owner Natalie Jensen told ABC4 in a video interview that rising operating costs have made it hard to keep the storefront going and that the family "feel it is the right time" to step away. According to the station, So Cupcake will hand out free mini cupcakes all day on February 28 and cap things off with a farewell party from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
