The Tennessee Titans have announced changes to their front office. Controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk said General Manager Mike Borgonzi will have increased authority over team operations, including final decisions on the 53-man roster and leading the search for a new head coach, WSMV reports.
Borgonzi’s expanded role is part of a wider organizational restructuring, with both he and President of Football Operations Chad Brinker reporting directly to Amy Adams Strunk. NFL eports that Borgonzi and Brinker drew on experiences from their time with Green Bay and Kansas City, identifying clearly defined roles and reporting lines as important elements in team operations.
The Titans have identified several candidates for their head coaching position, including Mike McCarthy, Matt Nagy, and Robert Saleh. The search is expected to accelerate after the team’s 2025 season concludes against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In a letter to Titans fans posted on the team’s official website, Amy Adams Strunk explained the rationale behind the front-office changes. She wrote that clarifying the focus areas of football leadership provides long-term benefits. Under the new structure, Borgonzi will oversee player personnel and head coach decisions, while Brinker will continue to manage strategic areas such as salary cap, analytics, and other football operations.
