An 87-year-old man was found dead at a senior living facility in Montgomery County, and authorities are investigating the case as a homicide. According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, Robert Fuller Jr. was discovered unresponsive with head trauma on Saturday morning last week at Cogir of Potomac Senior Living. Police and firefighters responded to a distress call around 7:34 a.m. Despite life-saving efforts, Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene on Potomac Tennis Lane.
The Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division confirmed after processing the scene that Fuller had been fatally shot.
The homicide section is continuing the investigation. No arrests have been made, and no suspect information has been released. Fuller’s body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death.
