
A 43-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting yesterday in Antioch that sent officers racing to the 2100 block of Lemontree Way, according to police. Multiple calls about gunfire brought officers to the area, but no victim was immediately found at the scene. A short time later, a local hospital alerted detectives that a gunshot victim had arrived.
According to SFGATE, officers went to the hospital and found the same 43-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later transferred to a trauma center, where he remains in critical condition. The Antioch Police Department has said the investigation is ongoing.
