Join the Janesville Senior Center on Wednesday, April 8, for a fun-filled day trip to Lake County, Illinois. The group will enjoy a guided tour of a chocolate factory, some free time to shop, and a stop at First Draft for an I Love Lucy–themed buffet lunch, according to the City of Janesville press elease.
After lunch, guests will enjoy a lively presentation on the making of the iconic TV show I Love Lucy, presented by local humorist Todd Hunt. This trip is open to anyone age 21 and older.
The group will depart from Dawson Park, 920 Beloit Avenue, at 8:00 a.m. and return around 5:30 p.m. The cost is $110 for members and $120 for non-members, with registration due by March 5—call the Janesville Senior Center at (608) 755-3040 for details and to register, as reported by the City of Janesville.
