A Lake Worth Beach man is behind bars after a detailed investigation led by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office into allegations of possessing child sexual abuse and animal pornography material. William Robert Locklin, 31, was arrested yesterday and faces multiple charges in this ongoing case.
According to information from CBS12, the investigation was sparked by cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which pointed to uploads of illegal material traced back to Locklin. The inquiry reportedly began between late October 2025 and continued through January 2026, with detectives tracking the suspect's IP addresses to his home on Wisconsin Street in Lake Worth Beach.
The authorities executed search warrants on account records and electronic devices linked to these uploads. “Numerous illegal files involving minors were located during the investigation, including additional material that had not been previously reported through cyber tips,” as stated in the report obtained by CBS12. Locklin is now facing 30 counts of possession of sexual performance by a child and five counts related to possession of unlawful sexual activity involving animals.
Detectives tied the content to Locklin through subscriber information and documents found within a cloud account associated with him, according to a report by WPBF 25. A cellphone and additional evidence were seized during the arrest, leading to further substantiation of the charges. The sheriff's office added that subpoenas to multiple service providers and surveillance of the residence were integral parts of the investigation.
The case remains under active investigation as detectives continue to review evidence. Locklin was taken into custody without incident and was booked into Palm Beach County Jail.
