A Miami man has been arrested and ordered to be held without bond after a reported assault on a woman seated in her parked car, law enforcement officials said. According to a NBC Miami report, the incident occurred yesterday, with the victim claiming that the aggressor, identified as 46-year-old Milutin Siriski, initially walked by her vehicle, which was parked along the sidewalk, before making contact.
As seen peering into the victim's car, the woman asked Siriski if "he had a problem," as per the report. It was then Siriski allegedly returned to the car, assaulted the woman by punching her through her open window, and further kicked her in the stomach after opening the driver's side door. In an effort to save, situated at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, the witness managed to pull Siriski away from the woman and detain him until police arrival, as detailed by a witness statement in the arrest report obtained by Local 10.
The attack happened near Douglas Road's 1500 block, close to where Siriski resides. The victim experienced a sudden and violent intrusion while simply sitting in her car. Miami police responded to the scene after the passerby acted to stop the attack and held Siriski, who was subsequently taken into custody without further incident.
He "opened the driver’s door and kicked her in the stomach and pull(ed) her by the hair while she was still seated inside," states the arrest report from the Miami Police Department, echoed in the Local 10 coverage. In contrast with his violent behavior towards the victim, Siriski's arrest was noted to be without incident. He remains held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances leading to the attack.
