Emergency crews kept the area shut down while the sheriff's office documented the wreckage and collected evidence. The Hendricks County Sheriff's Department told WISH‑TV that the collision involved three vehicles and happened around noon. At the time, the outlet described the crash as a developing story, noting that investigators were still working to piece together what led to the deadly wreck.
