
The Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services is hosting a “Better Brain Health Presentation” as the city’s population ages. It will be held on February 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Jefferson Court Apartments, 415 E Knapp St. in Milwaukee, as reported by the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services.
The presentation will cover basic information about dementia and the difference between normal aging and concerning changes. It will also explain Alzheimer’s warning signs and ways to lower risk, as stated by the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services.
According to the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services on their Facebook page, the department is hosting a brain health presentation that explains the connection between heart and brain health, stating that "What’s good for the heart is good for the brain." The presentation provides information about dementia, early detection, and prevention.
