Mooresville residents faced travel disruptions this morning as the Town and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) replaced a broken pole at the intersection of Broad St. and McLelland. The work began around 9:30 a.m., requiring the intersection to be closed to all traffic.
Officials said the closure is expected to last 4–6 hours, covering roughly half of the workday. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes and plan for delays while repairs are underway.
