Did you know the Ghost Train runs on love? Managed by the Shorewood Public Art Committee, this fully volunteer-led effort relies on community support for its programming, maintenance coordination, and special events, according to the Village of Shorewood.
Every aspect of the Ghost Train—from new initiatives to maintenance calls—is powered by dedicated volunteers. The original installation was funded entirely through community donations, and February contributions will go directly toward physical maintenance to preserve it for years to come, as reported by the Village of Shorewood.
