Waldo’s Chicken & Beer is zeroing in on another Middle Tennessee outpost, with a Murfreesboro restaurant labeled as “coming soon” and a fresh permit pointing to a Hillsboro-area build-out. The Nashville-born fast-casual spot, known for Southern-fried and rotisserie chicken paired with a changing beer lineup, has confirmed to a local outlet that a new location is on the way. Suburban diners can look for the brand’s signature tenders, sandwiches, and full bar program in a new neighborhood setting.
Waldo’s posts Murfreesboro 'coming soon'
On its own locations page, Waldo’s lists "Murfreesboro — Coming soon!" at 4310 Veterans Parkway, Suite A, according to Waldo’s website. The chain’s menu copy sums up the concept as "We’re all about keeping things easy: delicious food, cold beer, good vibes" and highlights tenders, sandwiches, salads, plates, loaded nachos, and wings, as detailed on Waldo’s menu.
Permit points to a Hillsboro address
A recent permit record lists 4106 Hillsboro Cir and calls for renovations to a single-story, standalone restaurant space of more than 2,700 square feet, according to What Now Nashville. The outlet notes that the permit names the site as 4106 Hillsboro Cir, Nashville 37215, and that "Waldo confirmed the forthcoming location in a message with What Now Nashville" but did not offer an immediate opening timeline.
Regional growth and recent openings
The latest openings fit into a steady regional growth streak for the brand. Founder Mark Waldo launched the concept in 2019, and the chain has been rolling out new restaurants across the Southeast in recent years. Coverage of those debuts, including a Pelham opening last August, has highlighted the company’s continued push into suburban markets, as reported by Shelby County Reporter.
Timetable and what to watch
There is still no official opening date. What Now Nashville reports that Waldo’s confirmed the forthcoming location, but "was not immediately available to provide further details." For now, the permit filing and the brand’s "coming soon" listing are the strongest public signs that things are moving. Expect more clarity once a lease filing or firm opening date surfaces, at which point this space will be updated.
