How deputies tracked the suspect
Kankakee County deputies and Aroma Park police were dispatched to reports of shots fired on Strasma South Drive just before 1:30 a.m. As they arrived, deputies say they heard another gunshot and, using thermal imaging, located the suspect, identified as Michael C. Setticosi. Authorities say Setticosi tried to hide multiple firearms above a porch near a gutter, then left the residence armed and was initially noncompliant with commands. He faces charges of aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm at an occupied building, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and is being held pending a detention hearing, as reported by FOX 32 Chicago.

Body-worn camera footage released by the sheriff’s office shows Setticosi lying face down in his driveway while officers order him to place his arms behind his back before deputies move in and take him into custody.
