Per the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to the 2000 block of Flat Shoals Road SE around 10:38 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2025. They found a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. APD's preliminary bulletin states that Grady EMS rushed the victim to the hospital and that investigators collected multiple shell casings at the scene. The department classified the shooting as a drive-by and said detectives are still working to piece together what led up to the gunfire.
