According to a complaint reviewed by the New York Post, the officer, identified in court papers only as “N.T.,” says she was summoned to Inspector Jeremy Scheublin’s office on Jan. 1, 2025, where the encounter allegedly turned physical.
The suit accuses Scheublin of groping her and repeatedly making graphic sexual comments, including, “I don’t know whether to kiss or choke you” and “I want to make biracial babies with you.” The officer says she reported what happened to a lieutenant, who then reached out to the NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau.
The complaint also claims that after she came forward, she was reassigned to 3 a.m. tours and that Scheublin dangled specialized assignments the next day that could have paid about $50,000 more per year. The filing frames those moves as retaliation for speaking up. The Bronx District Attorney’s office is reportedly looking into the allegations, and the officer’s attorney told the paper that the facts could support criminal charges.
