Owner Peter Kim is aiming to have the new restaurant up and running in the fourth week of March.

The Oakley CM Chicken is taking over the unit at 3804 Paxton Ave. in the Hyde Park Plaza shopping center, according to Local 12. Kim told the outlet he is targeting the fourth week of March for opening, putting the finish line firmly in sight for fried chicken fans on the east side.

Regency Centers' property listing for Hyde Park Plaza shows CM Chicken on the center map and lists the restaurant's space at about 5,659 square feet, placing it alongside anchors such as Kroger and Kohl’s, per Regency Centers. The center, which draws millions of visits annually, already serves up a mix of quick-service and sit-down options that should help CM Chicken tap into both dine-in and takeout crowds.
Local Roots And Menu
CM Chicken made its Cincinnati-area debut in Liberty Township in 2022, according to reporting by the Cincinnati Business Courier, and the brand lists that Liberty Township address on its official site. The chain, known in Korean as Choongman Chicken (충만치킨), highlights menu items like Snow Onion and Soy Garlic that helped it grow beyond South Korea, per CM Chicken.
Oakley's Growing Food Scene
