St. Charles County voters will not have to wait until Election Day to make their voices heard. Starting next Tuesday, residents can head to in‑person vote centers for no‑excuse early voting ahead of the April 7 municipal election.
The St. Charles County Election Authority office in St. Peters is stretching its schedule and adding two temporary vote centers: one at Element St. Charles and another at The Meadows Mall in Lake St. Louis. Those options run into early April, and county officials are nudging voters to look over sample ballots in advance and bring an acceptable photo ID when they show up.
Where and When to Vote Early
No‑excuse, in‑person early voting opens March 24 at the St. Charles County Election Authority and at two temporary vote centers, with each site running on a slightly different schedule. The Election Authority office at 397 Turner Blvd. in St. Peters will be open March 24 through April 6, with evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a Saturday option on April 4, and shortened hours on April 6. Vote Center East (Element St. Charles) and Vote Center West (The Meadows Mall) will operate weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through April 3. These details are posted by the St. Charles County Election Authority.
Preview Your Ballot and What to Bring
Before heading out, voters can review everything that will appear on the April 7 ballot using the county’s sample ballot resources. The Missouri Secretary of State lists acceptable forms of photo ID, including a nonexpired Missouri driver or nondriver license, a U.S. passport, or another valid government‑issued photo ID, and also notes that provisional ballots are available when voters do not have ID. For the complete list of acceptable IDs and help with questions, see the Missouri Secretary of State.
