
A Friday night stabbing on Porter Street ended with one man in the hospital and another person in handcuffs, according to Ogden police.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Porter, where they found a man suffering from what investigators described as non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment while officers locked down the scene and began canvassing the neighborhood.
Lt. Will Farr of the Ogden Police Department told KSL NewsRadio that a person of interest was taken into custody on Friday as detectives started working to piece together how the confrontation unfolded.
Investigation and tips
Detectives say the case is still very much active, and as of late Friday night, no formal charges had been announced. Investigators are continuing to sort through evidence and witness accounts.
