Both Murfreesboro City Schools campuses were placed on a temporary lockout while officers investigated, and police detained one person at the scene.
According to the Murfreesboro TN Police Department, officers were called to the area and enacted lockouts at the two campuses. The department said the temporary lockout meant no one was allowed inside the buildings while the situation was checked out. The post also stated that one person was detained and that the incident remains under investigation.
