An early-morning trip to a Boca Raton office complex turned deadly on Wednesday, when police say they found a man shot to death in the parking lot next to his car.
The victim, identified by Boca Raton police as 37-year-old Arman Motiwalla of Plantation, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds around 1:45 a.m. in the lot at 350 Camino Gardens Boulevard. Detectives are treating the case as a homicide, have said there is no broader threat to the public, and have not released any suspect information. Anyone with tips is asked to call 561-620-6175, according to WPTV.
Where it happened
The shooting took place in the lot at 350 Camino Gardens Boulevard, a low-rise office complex north of Yamato Road. State corporate records and business directories list One Concierge and other small offices at that address, indicating the scene sits amid office space rather than a shopping center, according to business listings on MapQuest.
Who the victim was
Public business profiles show Motiwalla had ties to concierge and venture operations, with listings on company pages and on Crunchbase. WPTV reported that he lived in Plantation. Authorities have not said why he was at the Boca Raton complex and have released few additional details about his activities before the shooting.
Police appeal
Boca Raton detectives say the investigation remains active as officers process the parking lot and track down leads. Anyone with information is urged to contact the department's homicide detectives at 561-620-6175.
