Miami is teeing up a massive new indoor playground in Coral Gables, where golf diehards and casual bowlers will soon share the same roof. The incoming Five Iron Golf flagship is set to span about 30,000 square feet and blend tour-level instruction, TrackMan-powered simulators and a full-length bowling concept with late-night hospitality. The hybrid setup is being pitched as equal parts nightlife destination and serious practice facility.
Inside, the Coral Gables flagship is slated to feature 12 high-tech golf simulators and 12 full-length lanes, plus a chef-driven food and beverage program and multiple bars, according to Time Out. The simulators are powered by TrackMan, the same ball- and club-tracking system used by touring pros, while the bowling piece will run under the Strike Club brand folded into the venue. The layout is designed so serious players and casual groups can share the space without stepping on each other's swings or frames.
