St. Charles’ east side is getting a serious glow-up next spring, as BG Hospitality Group’s Fire + Wine heads to the new Fox Haven Square development with its signature wood-fired pizzas, seasonal pastas and a wine-heavy drink list. The incoming spot is set to be bigger than the group’s older locations, with an expanded indoor-outdoor layout and a four-seasons room that opens to the plaza’s outdoor bar and central gathering space.
Where It Will Sit
Fire + Wine will anchor Fox Haven Square, a roughly 70,000-square-foot, family-focused lifestyle project at Main Street and Kirk Road on St. Charles’ east side, as reported by Shaw Local. The central plaza is planned as a hub for community events and summer concerts, and the restaurant’s four-seasons room is being designed to overlook the action like a built-in VIP section.
Brian Goewey, president of BG Hospitality Group, told the outlet that the Fox Haven site gave his team “more creative license” and added, “It’s going to be a great addition to the east side of St. Charles.”
Menu, Hours and Specials
On its St. Charles page, Fire + Wine lists an opening target of early spring 2026 and outlines a schedule built around weekday dinner and weekend brunch at the new location, according to Fire + Wine. The group highlights recurring promotions, including “Half-Price Pasta Mondays” and “Wine on Wednesdays,” and notes that the menu is refreshed three times a year to track seasonal ingredients.
The company also runs a “Weekly Chef’s Playground,” a rotating lineup of daily specials that is expected to follow the brand to St. Charles, giving regulars something new to chase each visit.
What To Expect On The Plate
Local coverage describes the menu as built around sharable Italian-style plates, with wood-fired pizzas, pastas and tapas-inspired small plates at the center of the action, according to the Daily Herald. Reported standouts include a fig and prosciutto pizza, rigatoni bolognese and a weekend “steak board” for guests who prefer their carbs with a side of red meat.
The paper also noted that the city granted Fire + Wine a liquor license late last year, with BG Hospitality planning a curated wine list and craft cocktail program to pair with the food. The St. Charles location is listed at 200 N. Kirk Road, on the northeast corner of Kirk Road and North Avenue.
Fox Haven Square and The Neighborhood
Fox Haven Square is a 7.5-acre redevelopment that City of St. Charles planning documents show will include three restaurant and retail buildings around a pedestrian plaza, an indoor pickleball complex and parking along Kirk Road. City materials describe a sales tax sharing agreement that helps fund sidewalks and plaza connections, positioning the project as a way to revive a long-vacant stretch near the Charlestowne Mall site.
For east-side residents who are used to a mostly daytime retail scene, Fox Haven Square is intended to bring more evening dining options and programmed events. Developers say they are counting on foot traffic from plaza activities and weekday use of the surrounding businesses to keep the area buzzing past the usual closing time.
Reservations and Opening Timeline
Fire + Wine is sharing updates, contact information and reservation details through its St. Charles page, which currently lists the location as opening in “Early Spring 2026,” per Fire + Wine. Diners are encouraged to check back for a firm soft-open date.
