The victim was taken by private car to Methodist University Hospital, where he was being treated, according to police. The shooting happened inside the Greenbriar complex near Madewell Street, an area where neighbors say gunfire is hardly a stranger. Greenbriar Complex Has a Recent History of Gunfire
This latest shooting is not an isolated scare at Greenbriar. The complex has seen multiple shootings in recent months, including a mid-February drive-by that injured a woman and a child, according to Action News 5.
