HONŌ is about to turn up the heat in Park West. Riviera Dining Group is bringing the modern Japanese steakhouse, lounge and rooftop concept to the E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences at 20 NE 11th Street in Downtown Miami. The multi-level venue is slated to open later this year and is pitched as a blend of open-flame cooking, sleek design and a music-forward service model spread across distinct dining and nightlife rooms.
As reported by What Now, HONŌ will unfold across three separate environments: a second-floor restaurant and lounge centered on premium meats prepared over open flame, intermediary lounge spaces for cocktails, and a rooftop bar with panoramic views stretching from South Beach to Brickell and Coral Gables. The outlet notes that the concept is a Riviera Dining Group creation, designed to sit inside the hotel footprint as part of its five-star dining collection and scheduled to debut later this year.
Three Distinct Experiences
Modern Luxury calls HONŌ “a multi-sensory destination where cuisine, music, and atmosphere seamlessly blend,” quoting RDG founder Gregory Galy saying, “We’re focused on creating destinations where dining, design, music, and atmosphere come together in a meaningful way.” As reported by Modern Luxury, the second-floor dining room will emphasize fire-driven preparations, while the rooftop is positioned as a late-night perch for cocktails and DJs. That layered setup is intended to let the brand host more formal dinners early in the evening, then lean into a nightlife crowd later on without losing its identity.
Riviera's Track Record
Riviera Dining Group is hardly an unknown name in Miami. MILA, RDG’s flagship on Miami Beach, was named the highest-grossing independent restaurant in the U.S. on Restaurant Business' Top 100 list, a milestone reported by Miami New Times. That kind of financial heft, coupled with the group’s members-club model, helps explain why developers tapped RDG to program the building’s upscale restaurant collection.
What It Means For Park West
E11EVEN’s 65-story hotel and residences complex has been marketed as an entertainment-driven, amenity-heavy development with a Chopra spa, day club, rooftop pool and a curated restaurant collection by Riviera Dining Group, per E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences. HONŌ gives the property a headline culinary destination that could draw both residents and late-night crowds deeper into Park West. Developers and partners have positioned the tower as a place where round-the-clock nightlife and luxury living intersect, and HONŌ is being pitched to bridge those moods.
Earlier reports, including What Now, say HONŌ is scheduled to open later this year, and job listings show Riviera is already recruiting leadership for the concept. A Glassdoor posting advertises a general manager role for HONŌ with a late-2026 timeline. That hiring activity suggests the build-out and staffing push are underway as the hotel finalizes its food-and-beverage roster ahead of the full opening.
