Main, and crews are currently remodeling the building, with a late-summer opening still the goal. The project adds another quick-stop coffee option to a busy stretch near Olivet Nazarene University and Interstate 57.
According to What Now Chicago, Pichaikani, who joined Scooter’s two years ago and secured the Main Street space last year, said, “Construction is on schedule.” He told the outlet this will be his first Scooter’s location and that the buildout is on track with the timeline he expects. The new, two-lane drive-thru will occupy the east side of E. Main Street, directly across from Chicago Dough Company at 545 S. Main. Local business directories also list a Scooter’s at that Main Street address, backing up the site selection.
How It Fits the Local Scene
The Bourbonnais shop is part of a broader push by Scooter’s into Chicago-area suburbs, with the brand opening locations in towns such as Bolingbrook and others around the region, as local outlets have reported.
