Brooklyn-style pizza has slipped into the Nashville Arcade, with Urban Cowboy Bar quietly adding Frankies 925 Spuntino pies to its ground-floor saloon. The partnership turned the space into a one-stop spot for slices and cocktails in early April, bringing naturally leavened pies like Classic Pepperoni, Sicilian Pepperoni, Frankies Hot, and Capicola to the downtown crowd. Frankie's runs as a walk-in counter beside Urban Cowboy’s upstairs cocktail lounge, serving both dine-in and takeout guests.
Brooklyn Roots, Local Expansion
According to Nashville Lifestyles, the collaboration officially kicked off on April 6 and serves as Frankie’s second Nashville outpost after its East Nashville campus. The brand was founded by chefs Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli, along with partner John Burns Paterson, who described the Urban Cowboy setup as a natural extension of Frankies’ neighborhood-hospitality approach.
Pies, Hours and Ordering
Per Frankies Nashville, the Arcade location turns out slices and whole pies made with naturally leavened dough and higher-end toppings, including standbys like Classic Pepperoni, Frankies Hot, and Sicilian Pepperoni. The site lays out walk-in pizzeria hours for the Urban Cowboy Arcade spot and notes that reservations are still available for the full Spuntino restaurant in East Nashville, while the Arcade operation runs mainly as counter service.
Where To Find It Inside the Arcade
The Frankies setup sits inside Urban Cowboy’s ground-floor saloon in the historic Arcade, where Urban Cowboy is listed among the downtown tenants. Urban Cowboy highlights its upstairs cocktail program and the saloon below, which now doubles as a built-in pizza-and-drinks night-out option for locals and visitors.
What This Means for Downtown
The move follows Roberta's run at the venue and reads as another sign that the Arcade is slowly waking back up, according to Nashville Lifestyles. Metro meeting records list Urban Cowboy Arcade LLC among downtown tenants, reflecting the behind-the-scenes permitting and commercial activity that is helping expand the Arcade’s food and drink lineup.
